Group Outing for IRON MAN! – UPDATED

Lance is heading up a group outing to go see Iron Man the day after release. I know I’ll be there, will YOU? We plan on hitting Greenbrier Regal 13 for the 1:30 showing on May 3rd. Afterwards, there is a significant chance of us hitting a restaurant or bar nearby to eat, shoot the breeze, and chug a few brews. If you’re a CITS Employee, we’ll be checking with HR to see if we can nab a company discount on the tickets. As of the moment, it’s looking like there’s going to be a pretty small turnout, but I’m hoping a few more people show up so we can take over the whole theater, or at least a few rows.
Lance is also using this as a cool way to kick off his new movie review blog, ButteredPopcorn.net. Go check it out, and drop a line in the comments to let him know you’re coming!
UPDATE: Yes, Canon ITS employees get the tickets for $6 instead of $7. Go talk to the people in HR to buy them... OR…

LESS BETTA’ UPDATE: Crap. The discount tickets from CITS are only good on a particular movie starting 12 days after the release. We’re going the day after. SUX. $7 it is.

Bad news.
It appears that the Super Saver movie tickets that we have available through Canon ITS will not grant access to the Iron Man movie. Looks like the Super Saver passes are not valid for new movie releases. I plan on calling the theater today to verify this, so you may want to hold off until I get official word from Regal Greenbrier 13. Also, check my blog at http://butteredpopcorn.net for the latest update once I know for sure.
